| If you want to beat the Chem regents, you have to learn from your previous mistakes.
Step 1. Have a consultation with a chemistry faculty to discuss your most recent chemistry regent exam or practice exam.
Step 2. Practice former regents exams. The latest we have is August 2003. It is now available as an online tutorial. If you went through the full exam, even 3 times over the winter break, you would be in much better shape for the January regents exam. Part A / B1 multiple choice quiz and tutorial (50 questions/answers)
For Part B2 and C, start by printing out the answer booklet (5 pages)
Then you can either print out sections B2 and C (5 pages) or look at them on the computer as you work. Alternatively, you can get the whole August 2003 exam.
After you have finished working the solutions, take a look at the scoring guide here. This is the guide that your teacher uses to grade your exam.
Step 3. Keep track and get help in understanding any questions that you get wrong. Check back here soon for a guide to review material. Meanwhile there is a great review website at Regent's Prep.
