Jeff O'Brien

Director of Athletics at Xaverian High School is serving as Administrator for the Summer Camps for the 6th year.
Jeff has been coaching boys and girls basketball and baseball for over 30 years. He has coached on the grammar school level, coached the Xaverian Varsity Club Basketball for 5 years and coached the girls Varsity Basketball at Fontbonne Hall. He is Co-Chair of the CHSAA Varsity Basketball Club Conference.
He has been administering and coordinating the activities of baseball and basketball leagues and camps for over 30 years. Jeff is the President and Executive Director of the Brooklyn Children Baseball/Basketball Assn, (BCBA) since it was established in 1984. He was the parish Athletic Rep for Our Lady of Angels for over 20 years. His love for coaching and working with the youth of our community make him a valued and experienced coordinator of youth activities.

Tom Burns

Tom offers a sensible approach to developing the individual skills of players of all ages. He combines knowledge, patience and enthusiasm to make the Xaverian Basketball camp a rewarding experience of all those involved. Tom has directed basketball camps at Xaverian and at the Carnescca & Sarachek Camp. Tom has coached on the Frosh, JVand Varsity levels at Xaverian High School for over 20 years. During the 2000-2001 season, as Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach, he was instrumental in guideing the team to the Brooklyn Queens Championship.

Tom was an outstanding Varsity basketball player at Xaverian as well as a leading 4 year player at Quinnipiac College.

Dennis Canale
XHS Head Coach Varsity Baseball
Dennis has 32 years of teaching and coaching young men and children. Formally, the Director of Baseball Operations at St. Francis Cabrini in Brooklyn from 1974 thru 1991. Presently Dennis is the Head Coach of the Varsity Baseball at Xaverian and run the entire baseball program consisting of 7 teams and 175 Student Athletes. While at the helm of Xaverian's Clippers, Dennis has steered his team to 3 CHSAA City Championships. Due to his coaching abilities, Xaverian's baseball program has had 5 of his players drafted by the Major leagues and numerous go to DI colleges.
