Alumni
Reunite in Westfield for the Third Straight Year
For the third
straight year, Xaverian hosted an alumni reception for those
graduates who live in Westfield, NJ, and the surrounding Garden
State towns.
The turnout was incredible as over 25 Xaverian and
St. Michael’s alumni attended to catch up with old friends
and hear from Xaverian president, Dr. Salvatore Ferrera, about
all the happenings on 7100 Shore Road.

Along with Dr. Ferrera, the school was represented
by Distinguished Faculty member and Xaverian legend, Joseph
Verde, Distinguished Faculty Member and Alumni Relations Director,
Sigfried Heiles ’64, Development Director, Nick Vendikos ’87,
and new guidance counselor Michael Wilson '77.
In the coming months, we will be visiting our alumni
in Boston, Lincroft, Westchester and Nassau County. If you
are interested in attending one of these receptions, or would
like to start an alumni chapter in your area, please contact
our Director of Alumni Relations, Sigfried Heiles ‘64 or call
him at 718-836-7100 ext. 118.
Philadelphia-area
Alumni Chapter Reception
Once again, thanks to
the generosity and hospitality on alumnus Frank Mirabello,
Esq. '72, the annual Philadelphia-area alumni reception was
held on October 28 at Frank's Market Street office. It wrapped
up a two-day alumni trip to Washington, DC, and Philadelphia
as school president Dr. Sal Ferrera and his Development Office
gave a firsthand update on the state of the school. Joining
the dozen alumni present were Distinguished Faculty member
Joseph Verde and Class of '77 alumnus and new guidance counselor
Michael Wilson.
