Alumnus Gregory Habeeb, a senior vice president with The Calvert Group, has been an active alumnus in Xaverian for the past two decades. Mr. Habeeb, who graduated from Xaverian in 1967 and attended the prestrigious M.I.T. on scholarship, established the Habeeb Scholarship at Xaverian to help provide the same educational opportunity to promising young men that he enjoyed. On a recent visit to New York, he treated his scholarship student beneficiaries and their families to dinner at Embers Restaurant in Bay Ridge .
