Varsity Baseball

The varsity baseball team has started the season where they left off last year. Their record now stands at 7 - 2 on the year with wins over rivals Moore Catholic, Xavier and PSAL power Grand Street Campus. The team will rely heavily on their seniors who are back to defend their city championship title from a year ago. Two in particular are 3B, Eric Kalman (George Washington University) and SS, Gabe Hernandez (Boston College). The team looks to continue its early season success with a tough week of games this week, which include Tottenville, Fordham Prep, St. Joseph by the Sea, Holy Trinity, Msgr. Farrell and Poly Prep.

Varsity Lacrosse

The varsity lacrosse team played its first game and recorded its first win over PSAL power Benjamin Cardozo on Saturday by the score of 8-4. Senior Jeremy Mangano paced the offense with 3 goals. Senior Chris Dacchille contributed with a pair of goals of his own. Junior goalie James Angelillo led a solid overall effort by the defense. The next game will be Saturday at local rival James Madison HS.
