27th Annual Police Officer Christopher Hoban Memorial 5-Mile Run

Sunday, September 20th, 2015
Ceremony 10am, Run 10:30am

IAB # 10/2015

In 1989, the Police Alumni of Xaverian High School established a memorial scholarship fund to honor their fellow officer and Xaverian alumnus, Christopher Hoban '80, who gave his life in the line of duty in 1988 at the age of 26.

The Hoban Run, now a September tradition in Bay Ridge, will take place on Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at 10:00 AM (ceremony at 10am, race starts at 10:30am) and is enthusiastically supported by the Xaverian Police Alumni, the NYPD and the entire community. The Hoban Run keeps alive the memory of Chris’ personal sacrifice and serves as the primary funding of the Hoban Scholarship which provides tuition assistance to sons of New York City Police Officers attending Xaverian High School.
