Transfer Students

Xaverian will consider transfer students for sophomore and junior year.  Xaverian generally will not accept student transfers for senior year.  If a student wishes to transfer to Xaverian he must do the following:

  1. Acquire an official copy of his transcript from his current high school, and transcripts from any other secondary schools he may have attended.
  2. Obtain two letters of recommendation.  Ideally one letter will be from a school administrator who can speak to the students academic and discipline record.  The second should be from a classroom teacher.
  3. Copies of all standardized test scores the student has completed since the 7th grade.
  4. If the student has an IEP please have it available as well.  Additionally, if the student is seeking admittance into one of the Specialized Studies Programs please make the Director of Admissions aware of that fact.
  5. Set up an appointment for an interview with the Director of Admissions, Mr. Mark Spelman.  Mr. Spelman can be contacted at mspelman@xaverian.org or by phone at (718) 836 – 7100, extension 117.

Please be sure to have completed the first three steps, and fourth if applicable, before setting up an appointment.
