Coach Daly began as head coach for Xaverian's Freshmen and Junior Varsity Baseball teams in 1997. Over that time, his teams have reached the City Finals fifteen seasons, coming away with the Championship Trophy in nine of those contests. Coach Daly has also earned the CHSAA Umpires Sportsmanship Award in ten of those seasons
Outside the baseball lines, Coach Daly had a two-year stint as Assistant Freshman Basketball Coach and two years as Head Coach of the Varsity-Club Basketball team, while assuming the duties as an Assistant Athletic Director for the past nine years.
In 2020, Coach Daly was chosen as the Theodore Ryken Person of the Year, a prestigious honor at Xaverian.
