We Remember.

As we mark the 16th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center, we are ever mindful of our 23 brothers who perished on that awful Tuesday morning. May we honor their memory by continuing as a school and community of which they would be proud. May God bless and keep them, as well as all of the souls lost that day, the first responders, the thousands saved and our forces overseas who continue to fight the evil of terrorism. They are forever in our hearts.
Sixteen years ago we learned a hard lesson on the fragility of life, but also the strength we possess when we are grounded in our faith. We share a portion of Father Mychal Judge's last homily to help us remember all those we lost that day, including our twenty three alumns:

"That's the way it is. Good days. And bad days. Up days. Down days. Sad days. Happy days. But never a boring day on this job. You do what God has called you to do. You show up. You put one foot in front of another. You get on the rig and you go out and do the job - which is a mystery. And a surprise. You have no idea when you get on that rig. No matter how big the call. No matter how small. You have no idea what God is calling you to. But he needs you. He needs me. He needs all of us."
-Fr. Mychal Judge O.F.M.
