Xaverian’s Girls Varsity Tennis Team captured another win on Monday against The Mary Louis Academy.

Senior captain Ava Castellano led the team to victory, winning 8-6 in her first match of the season. Freshmen Sofia Biagini clenched a win in her third singles match ending in a score of 8-2. With the two teams tied 2-2, the Clippers stood together watching their first doubles team of sophomore Scarlette Markle and freshmen Aimy Kapllani. The duo won in a nail-biting tie break 8-6 and secured the win against TMLA.

Following the team’s match on Monday, they attained a 4-1 league record. They are ready to take on Fontbonne Hall Academy on Tuesday at their home courts.
