Varsity Girls Soccer -- September 28th

On Wednesday, the Xaverian Clipper’s Girls Varsity Soccer Team won 4-0 versus Staten Island’s Notre Dame Academy.

The Clippers came out strong in the first half, with the first goal scored by Senior Riley Mullen. They kept the momentum going as Mullen assisted Senior Caitlyn Thompson’s first goal of the night minutes later. To end the first half, Sophomore Juliana Javier, assisted by Junior Kyra Sienkiewicz, put the team's third goal in the back of the net.

Although, the Clippers were not done in the second half; Thompson scored her second goal of the night off a pass from Senior Ella Trigiani. That put the Clippers at their final score of 4-0. Also, a huge shoutout to Senior Kara Wehner on another shutout.

The Clippers remain undefeated with a record of 4-0-2 (league). Their next game is Friday, 9/30 at 4:30 against Sacred Heart at Aviator Sports Complex. See you there!
