Xaverian’s Girls Varsity Tennis Team swept the courts on Friday with a 5-0 win against Notre Dame Academy in Staten Island.

Junior Stefania Arida and senior Claudia Bayard led the team, winning the first and second singles matches 8-2. Ava Castellano carried out a match victory in third singles with a score of 8-2. The freshmen duo of Sofia Biagini and Aimy Kapllani competed in first doubles and won their match 8-0. The second doubles team of sophomore Scarlette Markle and junior Vanessa Aiello finished out the 5-0 victory against NDA 8-3 in their match.

The Clipper’s next match is on Tuesday against Fontbonne Hall Academy on Shore Road.
