Varsity Girls Soccer -- October 24th
On Monday, 10/24, the Xaverian Clipper’s Girls' Varsity Soccer Team took on Saint John’s Prep away at Con Edison Field.
The Clippers came out strong in the first half with a goal scored by Freshman Julianna Puca off a cross dummied by Senior Caitlyn Thompson from Senior Ella Trigiani. The momentum kept rolling as minutes later Senior Caitlyn Thompson played a ball in behind to Senior Ella Trigiani, which she put in the back of the net. This brought the Clippers to 2-0 at the end of the first half. Still, the girls were not done in the second half.
Freshman Ella Kushnick took a shot off a corner play from Junior Kyra Sienkiewicz, bringing the Clippers to the final score of 3-0. Another huge shoutout to goalie Senior Kara Wehner for another shutout!
The Clippers play again on Wednesday, 10/26, at Aviator versus Molloy, and it is Senior Night! Please come and support our Seniors in their last regular season game.
