The JV Boys' Basketball team beat Cardinal Hayes 49-41 on Tuesday.
The Clippers were able to move the ball through Cardinal Hayes’ full-court press and set up open three-point and mid-range shot opportunities, which accounted for the majority of their total points. Additionally, they were able to force numerous turnovers on defense and turned them into fastbreak situations. The Xaverian scoring attack was led by Jaden Cadotte with 14 points, Peter Glynn with 10 points, and Matthew O’Sullivan with 9. Cadotte also added 9 rebounds, and his defensive effort was a major reason why the team was able to limit Cardinal Hayes to only 41 points.
The JV Clippers will look to get another win on Friday against St. Francis Prep.
