JV Boys Basketball - January 29th

James Schmidt '23
The JV Boys Basketball Team won 63-53 against Christ the King Sunday afternoon.

It didn’t take long for Xaverian to race out to an early lead in the first half with big runs of unanswered points. However, the momentum shifted to Christ the King in the second half, as they cut the lead to striking distance. In the end, the Clippers were able to slow the game down and hold onto the lead until time expired. Xaverian overall had a very balanced scoring effort, spreading the ball around to everyone on the court. Matthew O’Sullivan led the team in scoring with 16 points, while Jaden Cadotte and Mateo Perrotta each had 10 and Danny Diamantakos tallied 9. Cadotte and Perrotta also shared the team-high in rebounds with 8 each.

The JV Clippers will look to stay hot on Friday when they play St. Peter’s at 5:45.
