The Boy's Varsity Tennis Team beat Monsignor McClancy 4-1 Wednesday evening.

The Clippers traveled to Juniper Valley Park in Middle Villiage, Queens to face a McClancy team that improved drastically from last year. George Sfouggatakis won in first singles 7-5, 6-0, while James Schmidt followed up with a 7-5, 6-4 win in second singles. Both doubles teams notched victories to cap off the matchup, with the first doubles team of Giovanni DeSantis and John Paskowski winning 6-1, 6-2 and the second doubles team of Bartosz Foremny and Vincent Parente winning 6-3, 6-3.

The Varsity Clippers will look to stay undefeated when they play their first home match of the season against Archbishop Stepinac on Monday, May 1st.
