JV Boys Lacrosse - May 9th
The Xaverian Clippers beat St. Peter's in dominating fashion with a score of 11-1.
James Nichtern and Gavin Vaccaro gave Xaverian an early lead with two goals in the first quarter. Then Peter's responded with a goal of their own. But then in the second quarter, the Clippers took over, with a whopping five goals from Diego Foster, Gavin Vaccaro, and Alan Litovsky to make the score 7-1 at halftime.
Sadly, Goalie Rocco Dugan was injured, so Michael Astarita had to step up. In the 3rd quarter, the Clippers kept a distant lead with help, adding three more goals from Liam Conry, Vittorio Marino, and James Nichtern. The Clippers closed out the game in the 4th quarter with defense being lockdown and offense adding one more goal.
The Clippers end the season 7-1 and look to make a run in the playoffs.
