Last Thursday, Mr. Procida '02 (center) and Paul Mastrokostas '18 (right) had the privilege to attend the Chemical Heritage Foundation Museum in Philadelphia, and meet with board member Phil Lian (left), class of '66 and his wife Joan. The museum was holding an annual event called "Acquisitions Night" in which the museum (and library) displayed the various science relics, antiques, books and manuscripts acquired throughout the calendar year.
Mr. Procida remarked that "The Acquisitions Night at the Chemical Heritage Foundation Museum in Philadelphia was an evening filled with learning and awe! The museum and library is a treasure chest of scientific items throughout history; from Alchemy to Newton to breakthroughs of the 21st century.” Senior Paul Mastrokostas had this to say: "My trip to the Chemical Heritage Foundation Museum in Philadelphia was an amazing experience. I viewed a rare collection of books and manuscripts, met distinguished chemists and benefactors, and shared a timeless evening with Mr. Lian and his wife, Joan, both of whom I thank for this great opportunity."
