The Forum represents a place in the school where students can engage in meaningful dialogue about the most essential and pressing questions that come up in our daily experience. The Forum does not shy away from looking at all those aspects of human life that most easily touch upon and awaken the center of our life: the heart.
The heart is the deepest level of our common humanity, which aspires to truth, joy, beauty, love, justice, and happiness. The Forum seeks to explore all facets of our human life and their connection to this heart.
To this end, the Forum may host events, discussions and dialogues, presentations and the like on a vast range of subjects, from philosophy to music, art to poetry, science to literature. The Forum may present movies, invite guest speakers, or arrange field trips, as well.
In this way, the Xaverian Forum aims to enrich and unify the entire school community, by investigating what concerns all of us together as one human family starting from our shared desire not for debate, but for the Truth.
