Jason Dowling is an Advisor at Fannie Mae in the Single-Family Business. Fannie Mae’s mission is to facilitate equitable and sustainable access to homeownership and quality affordable rental housing across America. As part of this mission of providing liquidity throughout the housing finance secondary market, Jason supports the Capital Markets Securitization Policy team. This team facilitates on-going policy oversight for the Mortgage-Backed Security (MBS), oversees MBS disclosures, and manages development of new investor product offerings. His responsibilities consist of analyzing MBS impacts due to market changes, managing enhancements to strategic program areas, and facilitating resolution to investor claims.
 
Prior to this role, Jason served as Principal for the Vice President – Single-Family Business Office. In this chief of staff role, Jason provided direct, day-to-day support to both the Vice President of the Single-Family Business Office and the Executive Vice President – Single-Family Business. He served as a liaison to stakeholder partners across the enterprise, facilitated divisional coordination on business management activities, and aligned the Single-Family Business strategy cascade along with other senior leadership team engagement. Previously, Jason was an engagement program manager at Grant Thornton LLP. In this role, he led a team of 40 that provided oversight and analysis of a financial management organization to program and execute a large-scale federal healthcare IT budget of $4 billion. Earlier in his career, as a senior associate at PWC LLP, he led numerous teams focused on enterprise and liquidity risk management within the Banking and Capital Markets sector. His clients included the Department of the Treasury and multiple foreign-based commercial banks. During this time, Jason supported the development and maintenance of the internal control environment of disbursement and collection of crisis recovery funds in the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). Prior to that, he held roles at BearingPoint Inc., which was acquired by Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and is a 1998 graduate of Xaverian.
