Test Prep Classes

The key to success in any endeavor is preparation and practice—and this is especially true when it comes to tests that play a critical role in shaping a student’s educational future.

This year, in place of the traditional, in-person boot camps, we are pleased to announce a new program to support our students in their preparation for the SAT and ACTs. Xaverian will be utilizing the services of Marigold Prep to help students achieve their best scores on these crucial college admissions exams. Marigold Prep offers a comprehensive and flexible approach to test prep, featuring:
  • Expert-led instruction: Students will learn from experienced instructors.
  • Adaptive practice platform: This technology helps students focus on areas where they need the most improvement.
  • Virtual classes capped at 12 students: Smaller class sizes ensure personalized attention.
  • Variety of class lengths: You can choose the option that best fits your child's schedule.
  • Private instruction available: For those seeking one-on-one support, Marigold Prep also offers private tutoring.
Xaverian will continue to offer in-person TACHS and HSPT test prep. This after-school program will be taught by knowledgeable members of our staff. 

Please note:
  • Online registration will serve as notification of acceptance into the program.
  • The cost of the class includes a review book, which your child must bring to each class.

  • Intro to TACHS for 7th graders - Spring 2026

    • This class is designed for current seventh graders taking the TACHS exam in November 2026. This class will focus on introducing students to test-taking strategies and the structure of the  TACHS exam, so students gain facility with the material and the online test-taking process. Students from all schools are welcome to join us! The cost of the class, including preparation materials, is $350. 
    • Please note: Some materials will be distributed electronically, so every student MUST have an email address to which they have full access and that is not a school-issued email address. We will not be responsible for delivery and/or participation issues that arise if this requirement is not met.  
    In-person classes will run 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm on the following days:

  • HSPT Prep - Fall 2025

    • This class is designed for current eighth graders who will be taking the HSPT exam this fall. Students from all schools are welcome to join us! The cost of the in-person class, including preparation materials, is $350. Books will be distributed in class. 
    • Please note: Some materials will be distributed electronically, so every student MUST have an email address to which they have full access and that is not a school-issued email address. We will not be responsible for delivery and/or participation issues that arise if this requirement is not met.
