It feels like just yesterday the school year started, but here we are, already in October, and Xaverian’s Spirit Week is almost upon us! Our entire school, from our 6th graders to our Seniors, participates in this annual tradition of fun-filled activities and themes that not only show the Clipper Pride of our students, faculty, and staff but also remind everyone that Spirit Week is a time to reflect on the Xaverian values of service, charity, community, and friendship.

Our Spirit Week activities are designed not only to foster school spirit and camaraderie but also to raise financial support for current and future Clippers. The funds raised go to our Clipper Fund, which helps cover departmental and extracurricular expenses, technology upgrades, professional development, and campus enhancements. Proceeds will also be dedicated to assisting families who have tragically lost a parent. In such cases, Xaverian covers the tuition for the affected student. Sadly, in recent years, the need for this support has far exceeded our tuition reserves, even beyond what is allocated from our activity fees. Donations collected during Spirit Week will help us absorb the tuition cost and ease the financial burden on grieving families.

This year we are resuming our Spirit Week Walkathon for Genesis students in grades 6 - 8. On Thursday, October 15th, students will walk along the Shore Road Promenade with teachers and chaperones. We will be sending more details on this event to all Genesis families.

We hope that every Xaverian family will give to our Spirit Week Appeal as their means allow, but we are asking each family to consider a donation of at least $150.00 per child.  Please know that regardless of the amount of your donation, all students will be included in the week’s activities.

In 2025, we raised over $86,000 during Spirit Week. We are proud to say that nearly two-thirds of our families supported the Clipper Fund. We hope our students will enjoy Spirit Week and that we will surpass last year’s fundraising total. Please help us achieve 100% family participation!  Your support will demonstrate your Clipper Pride and help us continue to provide our students with a quality Catholic education!

You can make your contribution right here on our Spirit Week homepage below! You can also send a check to the school. Checks should be made payable to Xaverian and received by October 17th.

Your support is essential and is always greatly appreciated.
