Cigar Night

SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

On Friday, September 11, 2026, we will gather for our annual Robert Charles Golden ’64 Cigar Night on the Rooftop Terrace. This year's gathering carries even greater significance as it marks the 25th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks, during which we tragically lost 23 members of the Xaverian alumni family.

We will honor their memory with a special tribute at the beginning of the evening. As we remember their sacrifice with the beams of light shining in the distance and celebrate the lives we lost, we also reaffirm the enduring bonds of faith and community that continue to define Xaverian.

It is in that spirit that we are pleased to invite you to Xaverian's Robert Charles Golden ’64 Cigar Night on Friday, September 11, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the Rooftop Terrace. Each year, we gather on the Rooftop Terrace for an evening filled with great food, spirits, cigars, and camaraderie, an event inspired by Bob, one of our greatest sons.  
 
Bob’s dedication and commitment to Xaverian and Catholic education continue to impact the young men and women who walk the halls of 7100 Shore Road.   

We will continue to celebrate and remember Joseph B. Guarinello ’72, who served as our cigar night aficionado since its inception. Joe was a dear friend and supporter of the Xaverian community. He entertained and brought enjoyment to all guests in attendance. He will be truly missed!
