A MAX-ium effort from our MAX musicians

On May 1st 2026, the Xaverian community came together to experience one of the many events everyone looks forward to every year: the annual Spring MAX Concert. This concert includes performances from 13 of our high school music groups, including the select band, the select orchestra, the concert band, the concert orchestra, the chorus, and many more talented music groups.

From the end of December to now, each music group has been working very hard to perfect the pieces they are set to perform. On Friday night, we saw that work pay off with stellar performances from everyone across all musical groups. “This performance is one of my favorite parts of the year. I get to see my practice pay off and show my family how much music means to me,” said Caroline Ruess ’29.

The students and teachers involved in the MAX program put all their effort into this concert, as was evident in the flawless performances of each group. From the chorus to the band, this night was filled with fun, exciting performances that everyone enjoyed! This was a night you didn’t miss in the Xaverian community. Congratulations to all the music groups involved, and we can’t wait to see another performance next year!
