Sophomore Annie McDonagh has turned compassion into action by founding a care project that brings comfort and encouragement to individuals with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) as they prepare for surgery. Her thoughtfully assembled care packages include items such as eye masks, slippers, gift cards, and prayer cards, offering recipients a reminder that they are not alone on their journey. Annie’s packages have already reached individuals across the United States, as well as in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. Through this inspiring initiative, Annie hopes to remind others that there is always hope, support, and a caring community cheering them on!
