Sean Ryan '16 Memorial Scholarhip

Sean was a young man who excelled both in and out of the classroom, emerging as a cheerful and supportive leader among his peers. It was fitting that, upon entering the building each morning, faculty and students alike would be greeted by Sean, perched with his buddies on the front steps of the auditorium; always with a smile on his face. Sean understood the importance of giving back to his school community and inspired others to do the same, volunteering across many Xaverian events, most specifically with the Admissions team. Sean’s tragic and untimely death just weeks after his graduation in 2016 was a devastating loss to all of us who knew him. It is through this scholarship that we not only honor Sean’s contribution but also, like he did, inspire the Spirit of Xaverian that he carried in his soul.
