2024 Season Outlook
The Varsity Boys Lacrosse Program is looking forward to the 2024 season, led by a veteran group that will be steering the Clipper ship on the offensive and defensive sides of the field.
The offensive corps gets a face lift this season, with key changes following the graduation of four senior attackmen. The offensive side will be led by lefty junior attackman Diego Foster, who boasts a rocket of a shot. Foster is joined on attack by fellow junior, Gavin Vacarroo, and senior Reed Clark, both of whom can let it fly from anywhere inside the box as well.
Joining the offense from midfield will be returning seniors John Imbriale, Jake Giordano and Tyler Selwood, along with help from the rising juniors Liam Conry, James Nichtern, Joe Pronesti and Jude Warshaw – who hope to generate some offense for the Clippers with their speed and dodging ability in transition.
The Clipper long-poles are led by junior defenseman and LSM Sean Costello, who will be at the point of the defense, joined by a revolving door of defensemen featuring seniors Matthew Ferris, Chris Deboer, Jack Barnett, and Dino Tomassetti, with contributions from sophomores, Ryan Frank and Joe Tomassetti. Senior defensive midfielders Joe Agostino and Mike Loccisano look to control the middle of the defense.
Anchoring the Clipper defense in the crease is senior goaltender Sebastian “Seabass” Manfredonia, ready to make his much anticipated return, after sharing the cage with junior netminder, Patrick Markowski.
