Michael Costa '76

Michael R. Costa has 25 years of investment banking experience, most recently as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking, Cowen and Company and has served as a financial advisor to numerous corporations/boards of directors in the technology, media and telecommunications industries in connection with mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings, advising on transactions totaling in excess of $300 billion. Michael is also a trustee of Dean College and a member of its Executive Committee and Chairman of its Investment Committee. He serves as a member of the aiLeadership Council for r4 Technologies, Inc., is an active member of New York Angels and has been appointed a fellow at the Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center at Columbia Business School.
He earned his BA from Colgate University, his JD from Harvard Law School and was a 2017 Distinguished Careers Institute Fellow at Stanford University.
