On Monday, the Xaverian Clippers Girls Varsity Soccer Team took on Christ the King at Aviator Sports Complex. The first half ended with the Clippers up 3-0. The team came out strong and ended strong in a Clipper win 4-0.
The First goal came from freshman Juliana Puca, with a shot from the right corner while playing forward. The next two goals came from senior Chelsea Monderson, one with an assist from Caitlyn Thompson on the 25 and the other dribbling through the defense straight to the goal. Finally, the team had a goal from senior Caitlyn Thompson, with an assist from junior Tess May. Senior Kara Wehner also had another shutout.
The Clippers remain undefeated with a record of 5-0-2 (league). Their next game is Thursday 10/ 6 at 4:30 against St. Joseph Hill Academy at Aviator Sports Complex.
