The Girls JV Basketball Team had their home opener today, and what a way to open it was!

The team started off strong with a basket from Rylee Thompson, which was only the first part of an amazing offensive game. Victoria Gauto led the team with 17 points, the crowd cheering her on with each basket scored. Along with her impressive ball handling and fast break opportunities, Jasmine Salcedo contributed greatly with 12 points. The hustle didn’t stop there, though, when freshman Lauren Owens came in the second half, quickly scoring 5 points.

The Clippers held the lead for the whole game, securing a win by 33 points in the end. Great game, Clippers!
