JV Girls Basketball - January 5th

Joya Moussalem
The JV Girls Basketball Team played in another league game against Molloy at Molloy’s own home court.

Freshman Jasmine Salcedo started the team off by attacking the basket and making the first shot of the game, with more to come. The Clippers were fighting hard and tied the score at the end of the first quarter. Their defense wasn’t strong enough to stop Jasmine Salcedo from dribbling right through them and dropping 10 points. Sophomore Haylie O'Keefe had a double-double of 12 points and over 13 rebounds. The Clippers worked together to play amazing defense which stopped Molloy from getting into the paint and forced them to only shoot from the outside. The game was a close one, but the Clippers, unfortunately, lost to Molloy with a final score of 37-28.

Although the Clippers may have lost, they kept their heads high and won’t let this defeat bring down their hopes of winning their upcoming games!
