Varsity Girls Swimming Wins the City Championship

Emma Winters '22
Congratulations to the Girls Swim Team. Not only did they place first during the dual meet season, but they also walked away with the first Swimming City Championship in the school’s history. With Xaverian scoring 760 and runner-up Molloy scoring 610, the girls had a phenomenal weekend. The team had a full sweep of all three relay events, and every girl walked away with their best times and helped the team win it all! The underclassmen really stepped up in their first Championship event. The freshmen alone scored 181 points. The team also had individual winners: Sam Gallo ’25 in the 200 Freestyle, Sam Zaets ’23 in the 50 Freestyle, and Madison Ebanks ’25 in the 100 Breaststroke. Congratulations again to this year's Swimming City Champs!! Well deserved, girls!!!
