  • What is the Look to the Stars Capital Campaign?

    The Look to the Stars Capital Campaign is a major initiative that will support the construction of new learning and community spaces at Xaverian. It reflects our commitment to providing students with innovative, future-focused opportunities while strengthening the values and traditions that define our school.
  • What is the Michael T. Strianese '74 Exploration and Innovation Center?

    The Michael T. Strianese ’74 Exploration and Innovation Center will be a new addition to campus, built above the current Whitcome Genesis Center. It will bring together modern classrooms, labs, and gathering spaces designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and growth among our students.
  • Why is Xaverian undertaking this project now?

    This project comes at a time when we are looking ahead to the future of education and the evolving needs of our students. By investing in new spaces now, we are ensuring that Xaverian continues to offer an exceptional, well-rounded experience that prepares students for college, careers, and lives of purpose.
  • What new spaces will be included in the new wing?

    The new center will include a St. Michael’s Chapel, a STEM and fabrication lab, a science laboratory, six new classrooms (including a dedicated business lab), office space, a faculty conference center, student lounge areas, and a rooftop recreational and educational green space.
  • How will this project benefit my child?

    Students will benefit from updated, purpose-built spaces that support hands-on learning, collaboration, and innovation. Whether in science labs, STEM environments, or flexible classroom settings, these new spaces will enhance how students learn, think, and engage with one another.
  • When will construction begin and how long will it last?

    Construction is now underway. We will continue to share updates with families as timelines are finalized, including key milestones and anticipated completion dates. The project has an projected completion date of June 2027. 
  • What new opportunities will students have?

    The new facilities will expand opportunities in STEM, business, and interdisciplinary learning. Students will have access to advanced labs, collaborative workspaces, and areas designed for both academic and personal growth, helping them develop skills that are essential for the future.

    Student safety is our top priority. The construction area will be clearly secured, and all work will follow strict safety protocols. We are working closely with experienced professionals to ensure a safe environment for everyone on campus.
  • Will construction impact the school day?

    Our goal is to minimize disruption as much as possible. Careful planning is in place to ensure that teaching and learning continue smoothly, with any necessary campus adjustments communicated clearly and in advance.

    There may be some temporary adjustments to traffic flow, parking, or certain areas of campus. We will communicate all changes proactively and provide clear guidance to families to ensure a smooth experience.

The Michael T. Strianese '74 Exploration and Innovation Center
