Thomas A. Fezza, Esq. ’73

Corporate Tax Attorney & CPA
Tom Fezza '73 is a proud Xaverian alumnus whose professional journey reflects the values and discipline instilled during his time at 7100 Shore Road. A graduate of Fordham University, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting, and Fordham Law School, where he received his J.D., Tom built a distinguished 38-year career as a corporate tax attorney and CPA.

His professional path included leadership roles at several major firms, including Price Waterhouse, American Home Products, TW Services, Booz Allen Hamilton, Capital Markets Company, Centennial Communications, and Moody’s Corporation, where he served as Vice President and Head of Tax. A longtime member of the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), Tom served as President of the New Jersey Chapter for two years and as a director for eight.
Beyond the office, Tom has always found purpose in giving back. For more than a decade, he has volunteered as a confirmation mentor with the Our Lady of Peace youth group and spent over 12 years coaching youth baseball, basketball, and soccer.

Reflecting on his Xaverian experience, Tom says, Xaverian provided an excellent foundation for my ultimate success and happiness. It taught me how to communicate, think critically, and build relationships that have lasted a lifetime.”

To today’s Clippers, he offers this advice: focus on communication, stay curious, and make the most of every moment—because, as Tom reminds students, “high school goes by quickly, but the lessons and friendships last forever.”
