2021 Season Outlook

The 2021-2022 school year brings a lot of new beginnings, and this is especially true for the Boys JV Soccer team. While there are a few returning sophomores, we have a mostly new team with a lot of sophomores and freshmen joining our ranks. The team met and started working together through tryouts and practices for most of August and came charging into the regular season as school began this September.

Leading the team and holding everything together on the field will be team co-captains Jack Barnett ’24 and Josip Markovinovic ’24. They are joined by several sophomores, some new additions and some who are returning from last year’s team: Christopher Centore ’24, Michael Fiorillo ’24, Michael Grum ’24, Lorenzo Guerra ’24, Sebastian Manfredonia-Pantaleo ’24, Liam Martin ’24, Matthew Paraskevadis ’24, Dante Scalia ’24, Yasvet Sharma ’24, and Timothy Stosko ’24.

The team enthusiastically welcomes our new freshmen players: Caleb Barbara ’25, Joseph Castellana ’25, Federico Farina ’25, Christopher Pisano ’25, Andrew Stosko ’25, Thomas Tadros ’25, and Philip Vitarelli ’25.

We always remember that we wouldn’t get far without the anchors of the team: our vigilant goalkeepers Thomas Markovinovic ’24 and James Orlando ’25.

This season is shaping up to be a great one, with the boys excited to grow together as athletes and to show their prowess on the field. Go Clippers!
