2022 Season Outlook

The 2022 Xaverian Freshmen Baseball squad is one of the more talented in several years.  The quality of talent was such that five players were immediately promoted to JV and the remaining 9th graders continue to bring home the victories.

Russell Schneider will again coach the freshmen. Coach Schneider has been on the Clipper coaching staff for more than a decade on various levels. And Schneider's baseball coaching experience extends a quarter of a century. Other freshmen coaches this season include Joe Honan, who also has been a Xaverian coach and a sandlot veteran.  Joining the staff in 2022 is Jared Lerner, a star centerfielder who played a huge role in 2018 as Xaverian Varsity won the CHS Championship.  This trio will play a major role in developing the layers for the next two levels.
