On Wednesday, April 18th, Xaverian had the honor of receiving a visit by Bishop Tiedemann. The visit included a Mass with sophomores and juniors and a special meeting with our Genesis students, most notably those that will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation on May 20th at Regina Pacis, with Bishop Tiedemann officiating the sacrament.
8th grader Mary Comer, who will be receiving Confirmation along with her classmates, had this to say about the visit: "The other day my Confirmation class and I met Bishop Tiedemann after he talked to my school to tell us how making Confirmation should be one of happiest days in our lives and not to worry about it. He told us how special every single one of us were, and that he couldn't wait to share that special day with us. Having the Bishop come and personally explain to my class how honored and happy we should be made me feel way less nervous and super excited for May 20th to come."
