Clipper for a Day

Xaverian’s “Clipper for a Day” is a program designed to familiarize prospective students in the 7th and 8th grades who are interested in attending Xaverian.  The student will be introduced and assigned to a current freshman or sophomore and will accompany that student throughout the day, beginning in homeroom and following the entire day in the life of a Clipper.
While on campus, your child is expected to follow Xaverian rules and regulations.  Students should be dressed appropriately in professional attire (boys: dress pants, dress shoes, collared shirt; girls: dress pants or dress skirt, and dress shoes) OR students may choose to wear their school uniforms.
Visits will be scheduled beginning mid-September for current 8th graders. If you are currently an 8th grader, please click here to choose a Fall date for your visit! Please note: we are currently offering Buddy Days for 8th graders for the last week of January and the first week of February. If you are currently a 7th grader, please check the website again in mid-February to schedule a Spring Visit.

Parent Tours

Parents are welcome to come in for small group tours of the school from one of our Admissions representatives.  These tours will be held every Thursday in the Fall only, starting mid-September.

If you wish to attend a Parent Tour, please contact Ms. Kimberly Cruz, Assistant Director of Admissions at 718.836.7100 x117 or at

Like our Clipper for a Day program, parent tours will have a limited number of parents that can come on each Thursday.  We appreciate your understanding if your first choice of a date is not available.
