The Freshman Boys Basketball Team lost 53-35 against Bishop Loughlin on Friday.
In what was a low-scoring affair, the Freshman Clippers found a wall of defenders every time they tried to drive to the paint. They were able to swing the ball around the court easily but rarely found open lanes near the basket. This left them with no choice but to take the majority of their shots from beyond the arc throughout the game, many of which unfortunately didn’t fall. Christian Hine-Stroza led the team with 11 points, while Cody Ng added 9. Matthew McKnight brought down a team-high 7 rebounds.
The Freshman team will next take on Christ the King on Sunday at noon.
