The Varsity Boys Basketball Team beat Bishop Loughlin 74-65 Friday night.
The Varsity Clippers once again played a fast-paced offense that involved many long passes downcourt to set up quick scoring opportunities. While Bishop Loughlin also played well on offense, Xaverian’s scoring was simply too frequent to keep up with. Nasir Muhammad continued his campaign as the CHSAA’s leading scorer with 25 points, while Don Colon-Lewis followed up with 20 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Michael Walker turned in a solid performance on both sides of the ball, tallying 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
The Varsity team will be tested in a marquee matchup against Christ the King on Sunday at 5:00.
