Varsity Softball - April 22nd
The Clippers had a great weekend as they took home the trophy at the Joan A. Walsh Memorial Tournament.
The weekend started with a 9-0 defeat over Curtis. Winning pitcher Ella Decrescenzo had 10ks and was aided by the offenses of Ashley Dalo (2-2 3RBI HR) and Melanie Snyder (2-2 2RBI HR). Game two was a 4-2 victory over Fontbonne led by winning pitcher Ashley Dalo who recorded 8k and no earned runs. Dalo was backed by the offenses of Sienna Bocchino (2-3 3RS) and Melanie Snyder who sent one out of the park again to end the game.
The championship game was again led by Ashley Dalo (71P 1ER 6K) in their 8-1 defeat over Notre Dame. Freshman Sofia Cropper (1-2 3 run HR) and junior Gianna Samperi (2-3 2RBI) led the offense.
