JV Girls Soccer -- October 6th

The JV Girls Soccer Team had an exciting win this Thursday, rounding up a 2-0 triumph over St. Joseph Hill. It was a beautiful day for a game, and the Clippers were excited to play their first match of the season against Hill.

Starting off the game strong with aggressive defensive efforts made by Victoria Gauto, Christiana Delfini, Emma Brogan, and Kate Dean, the Clippers were able to keep the ball out of their half for the majority of the game. With incredible saves made by goalie Gabriella LoPiccolo, the opponent didn’t stand a chance. Midway through the first half, starting the Clippers off with the first point of the game was Grace Feretti, scoring a beautiful goal and bringing her team closer to success.

Keeping up with the intense nature of the match in the second half, impressive passes and skillful technique by the girls were recognized along with stellar shots on goal made by Samantha Gallo and Alana Lizzi. The fierce energy of the team brought the Clippers to yet another goal made by Grace Ferretti, leading the girls to a 2-0 victory and making Xaverian proud.
