Varsity Girls Volleyball -- October 8th

Ellie Wood '23
On Saturday, October 8th, the Varsity Girls Volleyball team faced Cardinal Spellman.

Although they started the game slow in the first set, the Clippers quickly gained control. Cardinal Spellman came in with a lot of energy, but with the Clipper offense on full display, they shut them down early in each set. They won the first set. With both their defense and offense on point, the pattern continued in the following two sets, leading them to end the day with a sweep.

The next stop for the Clippers is Tuesday, October 11th, at 6:00pm where they will face St. John’s Prep and play their last game at Aviator. The team is eager for their return to the Xaverian gym and will play their first game back at Xaverian on Friday, October 15th against The Mary Louis Academy. The Clippers are confident in their ability to continue their 7-game streak, which leaves them 7-0 for the season!
