Freshman Boys Basketball - January 29th

James Schmidt '23
The Freshman Boys Basketball Team lost 48-45 to Christ the King on Sunday.

Both teams remained very close in score with each other throughout most of the game. The high turnover count resulted in many points coming off fast-break opportunities. Down by 3 and with 15 seconds remaining, the Clippers had one final possession for a chance to tie the game at 48 but unfortunately were unable to do so. Axel Kovach was sharp from the three-point line, hitting 6 shots from beyond the arc for a total of 18 points. Christian Hine-Stroza led the team in both points (21) and rebounds (9).

The Freshman team’s next matchup comes against Stepinac on Wednesday at 5:00.
