Xaverian took on Kennedy Catholic in the first league game of the season.

The Clippers come in 2-0 against one of the top teams in the league for the past several years looking to continue their win streak. They started strong, holding them off the score sheet for several lengthy possessions. But eventually, Kennedy found their stride netting several goals before the half. The scoring would continue on to next, and the Clippers were held to a shutout for most of the game until Danny McMahon netted a goal along with Dylan Grosseto. Nico Menegatos would also add a goal settling the game to 11-3. 

The Clippers take on Monsignor Farrell Thursday at Farrell.
