Xaverian Dramatics kicked off the weekend with their rockin’ production of Godspell, starting off with three very successful shows! Through countless groovy rock songs, Godspell focuses on the positive and joyous lessons from the Gospel. Taking place in the 60s, the colorful graffiti and funky outfits never fail to catch your eye.

 

The show expresses a modern retelling of the Gospel of Matthew, highlighting select parables and reenacting impactful moments. The characters must face the challenge of choosing what to believe. Jesus’ witty humor and Judas' regretful decisions bring the audience on an emotional rollercoaster. The show has an exhilarating presence; from the catchy songs and dances to the captivating parables, there is never a dull moment.
