The Belgian Exchange Program is a long-standing tradition at Xaverian where sophomores, juniors, and seniors have the opportunity to visit the founding Xaverian Brothers school in Brugge, Belgium. As part of the exchange, Xaverian students host Belgian students for ten days in the fall while they visit many of New York City’s great attractions, learn in our classrooms, and embrace the New York culture. In return, Xaverian students visit Belgium and experience the culture while living with host families and experiencing many of the historic sites in Brugge, Ghent, Iepers, and Brussels. The program also brings students to Paris, France and includes visits to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.
