Broadway Choreographer Robert Taylor Jr. Inspires Genesis Dramatics Cast

Genesis Dramatics was excited to welcome Broadway professional Robert Taylor Jr. as a guest choreographer while students rehearse for their upcoming production of The SpongeBob Musical. Taylor, whose professional performing career includes work on Broadway and national tours, brought his industry experience directly into the Student Commons, giving the cast a firsthand look at how choreography is developed for the professional stage.

During his visit, Taylor worked with the cast on the energetic number “The Going Gets Tough,” helping students refine their movement, stage presence, and storytelling through dance. His dynamic teaching style and Broadway perspective energized the cast and offered invaluable insight into the discipline and creativity required of professional performers.

Mark your calendars! Genesis Dramatics will present The SpongeBob Musical from Friday, May 15, through Sunday, May 17.
