Xaverian Students Honored at Good Citizen Day in NYC
20 Xaverian students attended Good Citizen Day at the Union League Club alongside Principal Daniel Sharib ’96 and Ms. Eileen Postler. This marked the first time the program has been hosted in New York City.
Throughout the day, students engaged with distinguished speakers, including Justice Vito DeStefano, who shared insights on the U.S. Constitution and the role of the judicial system. Students then participated in breakout sessions where they debated the merits and implications of several recent cases from the Supreme Court of the United States, practicing critical thinking and civic dialogue.
The event concluded with a reception and formal banquet featuring a keynote address by former United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey. In recognition of their thoughtful participation and ongoing contributions to their communities, each Xaverian student received a Good Citizen Award.
We congratulate our students for representing Xaverian with a commitment to civic engagement.
