Coach Sal Barone, a proud Xaverian alumnus, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Xaverian Boys JV Soccer program. After graduating from Xaverian, Coach Barone went on to play Division I soccer at St. Francis College, where he earned his degree in 2017.

Following his collegiate career, he played professionally for six years in the United States, gaining valuable experience at the highest levels of the sport. Today, Coach Barone continues to share his love for the game by coaching youth teams with the renowned Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club.

As head coach of the JV team, Coach Barone is committed to developing young athletes both on and off the field, focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and character development—all while instilling the values of teamwork, discipline, and Xaverian pride.
